So far this season on the Amazing Race,
10 teams began the race of a lifetime from New York City. Along the way, there were some challenges that stumped teams, and challenges that hurt them. Teams raced through The Bahamas, Colombia, South Africa, France, Portugal, Kenya, Jordan, and Saudi Arabia so far. Round by round, teams got into trouble.
After surviving a non-elimination leg in the 1st episode, Ryan and Maliyah were the first team eliminated from the race and immediately left the group, unaware that there was an opportunity to return to the race.
Afterwards, 5 more teams got eliminated.
"Tomas and Skittle..."
"Josh and Rizzo..."
"Jonathan and Romeoll..."
"Gamo and Barry..."
"Dylan and Nels, I'm sorry to tell you that you have been eliminated from the race."
But before the race began, I mentioned to the teams that at some point in the season, there would be a chance for one of them to return to the race. Tonight, the five eliminated teams will return to New York City to partake in a short race where the winner will return to the race!

This is New York City. Earlier this season, teams started their race in The Bronx on the ultimate race around the world, but tonight, teams are starting in Staten Island and will race through Brooklyn and Manhattan for a chance to come back to this game. Tonight, at the Conference House, 5 teams will race for the opportunity to return to the game.
"Welcome back, everyone! In just a few moments, you will race for the chance to return to the game. You will be racing all across New York City, which involves going to Brooklyn and even Manhattan. Now, the leg will be pretty long because returning to the game will be a challenge. However, two teams will be eliminated early and not even make it to the pitstop in Manhattan. However, if you are the first to arrive at the pitstop, you will return to the game. Now, is everyone ready? Alright. The world is waiting for you, again. Good luck, travel safe... GO!"
